Low sodium cooking tips

I season most of my meats with herbs. My favorites are oregano and bay leaves. That's what I grew up seeing the women in my family use. I'm puerto rican so we use a lot of those spices along with fresh garlic mashed by hand in a mortar. I've expanded my herbs over the last couple of years due to committing to a healthier lifestyle. I also use limes or lemons and garlic salt ,but I use it sparingly. I found this great guide on heartbright.org, tips on what herbs and spices to use on diferrent meat types.
